What I Offer

I offer various services to women during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond who want to stay active and feel good while doing it.

  • Home visits for physical therapy during pregnancy and postpartum to treat:

    • pelvic pain (pain during intercourse or pelvic exams, SI joint pain, pubic symphysis pain, round ligament pain)

    • other pelvic floor dysfunction (urinary or bowel incontinence)

    • diastasis rectus abdominis

    • other orthopedic pain (back pain, neck pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, other body region pain)

    • running injuries

    Physical therapy appointment are primarily in person and offered only in the state of North Carolina.

  • Birth prep will be included in pregnancy related physical therapy appointments or can be scheduled as a preventative service for education and practice on ways to prevent birth injuries including high grade perineal tears and nerve injuries. Birth prep includes education and practice on:

    • perineal massage

    • labor and birth positioning

    • breath strategies

    • early postpartum rehabilitation

    • partner assisted strategies

    • considerations for movement with medical pain management (epidural)

    • strategies for non-medicinal pain management

    Birth prep services are provided in person or virtually in the state of North Carolina.

  • Personal training services are for those looking for personalized strength and mobility training guidance to support them during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Personal training plans will include safe movements for your body with consideration of past injuries but is not aimed to rehabilitate said injuries. Your training will be based off of your personal exercise experience, goals, and life style.

    Personal training is offered in person and virtually anywhere.

  • Independent strength guides are designed to be easy to follow, low equipment plans to support you. Independent guides are coming soon to support you through pregnancy, postpartum, returning to run postpartum, and general runner’s strength guide.
